Rope towing
- 1. Towing eyes (A) located at the locations shown in the figures. Attach the tow rope to the towing eyes only (A).
Warnings
(1) Never attach the tow rope to the eyelets (IN) Use of any cable attachment point except eyelets (A) may result in body damage.
(2) When towing the vehicle, choose smooth roads without inclines, as damage to the body may occur if the cable breaks.
(3) Do not try to pull the stuck vehicle out of the ditch, as this will cause the tow rope to not be horizontal.
- 2. Turn the key in the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position.
- 3. Turn on the hazard warning lights.
- 4. Place the shift lever in neutral position.
- 5. During towing, reliable communication between the drivers of both vehicles must be ensured, and movement must occur at a low speed. Avoid abrupt starting and sudden braking, which will cause the vehicles to jerk and may collide.
