General information

The air conditioning system automatically maintains the set temperature in the car's interior at any time of year.

The air supplied by the ventilation system to the vehicle interior can be heated or cooled depending on the comfort conditions selected by the driver and passengers.

The heating and air conditioning systems are separate, but the units and components of these systems are located in the passenger compartment in a single housing under the instrument panel. The entire flow of air supplied to the cabin is directed for heating or cooling through the same casing. The temperature and speed of the air flow are regulated using the same controls.

The heat generated by the engine is transferred by the coolant to the heater radiator located in the passenger compartment. The air flow supplied by the ventilation system passes through the radiator and is heated by the heat of the engine coolant flowing inside the radiator.

Location of ventilation grilles on the instrument panel

1. Central ventilation grilles; 2. Side ventilation grilles

Adjusting the amount and direction of air flows

3. Adjusting the air flow; 4. Adjusting the flow direction; Open; Closed

The air flow through the ventilation grille is adjusted by turning the knurled handle.

The direction of air flow through the ventilation grille is adjusted by moving the handle located in the center of the ventilation grille.
