General information
The air conditioning system automatically maintains the set temperature in the car interior at any time of the year.
The air supplied by the ventilation system to the passenger compartment can be heated or cooled depending on the comfort conditions chosen by the driver and passengers.
The heating and air conditioning systems are separate, however, the units and components of these systems are located in the passenger compartment in one housing under the instrument panel. The entire flow of air supplied to the passenger compartment is directed for heating or cooling through the same casing. The temperature and air flow rate are controlled by the same controls.
The heat generated during engine operation is transferred by the coolant to the heater radiator located in the passenger compartment. The intake airflow from the ventilation system passes through the radiator and is heated by the heat of the engine coolant flowing inside the radiator.
The location of the ventilation grilles on the instrument panel
1. Central ventilation grilles; 2. Side ventilation grilles
Adjustment of the amount and direction of air flows
3. Air flow adjustment; 4. Flow direction adjustment; Open; Closed
Adjustment of the air flow through the ventilation grill is carried out by turning the knurled knob.
Adjustment of the direction of the air flow passing through the ventilation grille is carried out by moving the knob located in the center of the ventilation grille.
