  • When measuring the resistance of the primary winding of the ignition coil, measure the resistance between contacts 1 and 2 of the ignition distributor connector (Fig. 9.1).

Nominal resistance: 0.5-0.7 Ohm
  • When measuring the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil, measure the resistance between the high-voltage wire terminal and contact 1 of the connector (see Fig. 9.1).
