2. Install the upper ring of the oil scraper ring. To do this, first insert the end of the upper ring into the groove under the piston ring and then press the upper ring into the groove with your finger (Figure 2.42).

Caution: Do not use pliers to install the top ring.
3. Install the lower ring in the same way as the upper one.
4. Check if the rings can rotate in both directions.
