Crankshaft — installation (Mitsubishi Colt 5)
1. Measure the outside diameter of the main bearing journal and the inside diameter of the main bearing (Figure 2.47a, b). If the difference is greater than the permissible value, replace the main bearing shells and, if necessary, the crankshaft. Normal value: 0.02-0.07 mm. Limit value: 0.15 mm.
