Oil pan — removal and installation (Mitsubishi Colt 5)

Removal

1. Drive the special tool between the pan and the cylinder block (Figure 2.27). Remove the pan.

Installation

2. Clean the contact surfaces of the oil pan and cylinder block.

3. Apply MITSUBISHI sealant No. MD997110 (approximately 4 mm in diameter) around the entire circumference of the oil pan flange.

4. After applying the sealant, the tray must be installed within 15 minutes.
