Removal and installation
Cars with non-feedback carburetor
1. Disconnect the battery from ground, remove the air filter.
2. Identify and disconnect the fuel hose and all vacuum hoses from the carburetor. Disconnect the throttle cable.
3. Loosen the bolts and remove the carburetor. Drain the gasoline from the float chamber.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
5. Check the condition of the carburetor flange plane and replace the gasket.
6. Adjust the damper drive cable - when you press the pedal, the damper should take a vertical position.
7. Before starting the engine, check that all wires and hoses are connected correctly and that the carburetor devices are secured.
Attention! It is prohibited to pour gasoline into the carburetor chamber diffusers to facilitate starting.
Cars with feedback carburetor (4-cylinder engines)
1. Disconnect the battery from ground, remove the air filter by disconnecting the hoses and air duct.
2. Drain the liquid.
3. Disconnect the throttle cable.
4. Tag and disconnect all vacuum and coolant hoses.
5. Identify and disconnect the wiring connectors from the carburetor by holding the connector body.
6. Disconnect the fuel hoses.
7. Unscrew the bolts and remove the carburetor, drain the gasoline from it.
8. Remove the gasket, remove the heating element if necessary.
9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
10. Check the condition of the carburetor mounting surfaces and replace the gasket.
11. Tighten the bolts to 18 Nm.
12. Adjust the throttle cable.
13. Before starting the engine, check that all wires and hoses are connected correctly and that the external carburetor devices are secured.
14. After the engine has warmed up, adjust the idle speed.
