1. Check that the travel of the outer door handle is within acceptable limits.
Nominal value (B): Front door: 11.4 mm.
2. If the travel of the outside door handle is not within the acceptable range, check the outside door handle or door lock assembly. Replace if necessary.

Checking and adjusting the stroke of the inner door handle
1. Check that the travel of the inner door handle is within acceptable limits.
Nominal value (B): 15 mm.
2. If the travel of the inner door handle is not within the acceptable limits, remove the door trim.
3. Loosen the inner handle fixing screws, and then move the inner handle back and forth to adjust the stroke.

Adjusting the installation of the rear door
1. If the lock and the rear door lock retainer do not align well, loosen the retainer mounting screws and adjust by moving the retainer in the desired direction.
2. If the gap around the perimeter between the rear door and the body is not uniform, (loosen the door hinge bolts) and adjust the gap by moving the hinges.
3. Check for contact between the upper and lower rear door dampers when the door is closed. If there is no contact between the dampers, move the upper rear door damper in the direction shown by the arrow to achieve contact between the dampers.

Checking the travel of the rear door handle
1. Check that the travel of the rear door outer handle is within acceptable limits.
Nominal value (B): 2.3 mm
2. If the travel of the outside door handle is not within the permissible limits, disconnect the holder and adjust the connection of the rod and the outside handle of the rear door.
