Disassembling the steering shaft (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Unscrew the special bolt (1).

2. Remove the steering column lock bracket (2).

3. Remove the ignition switch (3).

Note: If it is necessary to remove the ignition switch, use a hacksaw to cut off the special bolts on the side of the switch bracket.

4. Remove the steering shaft assembly (4).
