1. Install the power steering gear (13).
2. Install the clamp (12).
3. Install the sealing ring (11).
4. Connect the return pipe connection (10).
5. Connect the return hose connection (9).

6. Install the sealing ring (8).
7. Connect the pressure pipe connection (7).
8. Install the gasket (6).
9. Tighten the bolt (5).
10. Install the sealing ring (4).
11. Install the pressure pipe and return pipe (3).
12. Connect the tie rod end and steering knuckle joint (2).
13. Install the cotter pin (1).
14. Tighten the differential mounting bracket mounting bolts.
15. Install the wheel speed sensor wiring bracket and connect the hose connection.
16. Connect the front differential and propeller shaft joint.
17. Install the engine crankcase guard.
18. Fill the power steering system with working fluid.
19. Bleed the power steering hydraulic system.
20. Check that the front wheels are installed strictly parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
21. Adjust the wheel alignment angles.
Examination
Checking the steering rack
1. Check the surface of the steering rack teeth for damage or wear.
2. Check the contact surfaces of the seals for wear.
3. Check the steering rack for bends.
Checking the drive gear and valve assembly
1. Check the surfaces of the pinion teeth for damage or wear.
2. Check the sealing rings for wear or damage.
Checking bearings
1. Check the smooth operation of the bearings and the absence of extraneous noise.
2. Check for gaps in the bearings.
3. Check that the needles do not fall out of the needle bearing.
Other checks
1. Check for damage on the inner surface of the rack housing cylinder.
2. Check for wear, cracks and tears on the protective covers and dust boots.
3. Check the rack support bushing for excessive wear or dents.
4. Check the rack bushing for excessive wear or damage.
