Driver side airbag module
1. Align the timing marks on the clock spring and, after turning the front wheels to the straight-ahead position, install the clock spring into the steering column combination switch.
Caution: If the timing marks on the clock spring are not completely aligned, steering wheel rotation may be restricted when turning the vehicle, or the cable may separate from the clock spring, causing the SRS system to malfunction and serious injury to the driver or front passenger.

2. Install the upper and lower steering column covers.
3. Install the steering wheel assembly (6).
Note: Before installing the steering wheel, first turn the front wheels of the vehicle to the straight-ahead position and align the timing marks of the clock spring.
Caution: Before installing the steering wheel, check that the clock spring wires are not pinched or twisted.
4. After securing the steering wheel, turn it all the way in both directions to check the steering.
5. Install the driver airbag module (5).
6. Connect the driver airbag module connector (4).
7. Connect the signal connector (3).
8. Install the cover (2).
9. Connect the negative battery terminal (1).
10. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
11. Does the SRS indicator light come on for approximately 7 seconds, go out, and then remain off for at least 5 seconds?
12. If yes, the SRS system is functioning normally.
Passenger side airbag module
1. Install the passenger side airbag module (4).
2. Install the side airbag bracket (3).
3. Install the distribution pipeline.
4. Install the instrument panel.
5. Connect the passenger side airbag module connector (2).
6. Connect the negative battery terminal (1).
7. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
8. Does the SRS indicator light come on for approximately 7 seconds, go out, and then remain off for at least 5 seconds?
9. If yes, the SRS system is functioning normally.
Side airbag module
1. Install the seat back assembly with the side airbag module (2).
2. Connect the negative battery terminal (1).
3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
4. Does the SRS indicator light come on for approximately 7 seconds, go out, and then remain off for at least 5 seconds?
5. If yes, the SRS system is functioning normally.
