Removing
To remove the parking brake cable, perform the following steps.
Remove the floor console.

1. Remove the rear brake drum 8 (pic. 14.58).
2. Remove the spring 10 of the automatic regulator.
3. Remove the lower return spring 9.
4. Remove the automatic gap adjuster 4.
5. Remove the top return spring 3.
6. Remove the cap 6 of the holder.
7. Remove holder spring 7.
8. Remove the holder 2 brake shoes.
9. Remove the brake shoe with lining assembly.
10. Remove retainer 11.
11. Remove a cable 1 of a drive of a parking brake.
Parking brake cable for vehicles with rear disc brakes with integrated drum parking brake
To remove the parking brake cable on vehicles with rear disc brakes with an integrated parking brake drum mechanism, additionally perform the following operations.
1. Remove holder 13 (see fig. 14.58) cable.
2. Remove cable retainer 12.
3. Remove a cable 1 of a drive of a parking brake.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
1. Adjust the travel of the parking brake lever.
2. Install the floor console.
