1. Prepare the vehicle for testing (warm up the engine to normal operating temperature).
2. Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" ("OFF") position and connect the MUT II tool to the diagnostic connector.
3. Check the engine idle speed, which should be (750±10) min⁻¹.
