Camshaft Position Sensor (Mitsubishi Space Star)

Removal

• Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
• Disconnect the connector from the camshaft position sensor (Fig. 9.11).

• Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor.

Installation

• Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
• When installing, use a new camshaft position sensor O-ring.
• Screw in the sensor mounting bolt and tighten it to a torque of 9 Nm.
