Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the bolts and remove the engine cover.
- Disconnect the connectors from the ignition coils (Fig. 9.8, 9.9)

- Remove the bolts and ignition coil assembly.
- Clean the spark plugs with compressed air to prevent dirt from getting into the engine cylinders after unscrewing the spark plugs. Use a spark plug wrench to unscrew the spark plug. To avoid damaging the spark plug, install the spark plug wrench strictly along the spark plug axis.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
- Screw in the spark plugs and tighten them to a torque of 25 Nm.
