Outside air enters the car's interior through the air intake in the rear part of the hood, either independently or additionally with the help of a fan. When the heating is turned on, the flap opens the way for air flow through the heater radiator, which looks like a small radiator. The passing air is heated by the radiator fins.

In order to increase the heater power, a four-stage heater fan is used.
