Checking the Parking Brake Drive Indicator Light Switch (Mitsubishi Colt 5)

1. Remove the center console.

2. Check the electrical continuity between the switch terminals and the switch mounting bolt (Figure 14.31). When the parking brake system drive lever is tightened, there is electrical continuity; when released, there is none.
