2. Jack up the car and place it on supports.
3. Place a drain container of suitable capacity under the transfer case.

4. First unscrew the filler plug, then the drain plug of the transfer case housing and drain the oil into the prepared container.
5. After the oil has stopped leaking, wipe the drain plug, screw it back in place and tighten it to the required torque (32 Nm).
6. Add the required amount of fresh oil of the required grade to the gearbox through the filler/inspection hole; the oil should start to flow out over the edge of the hole.
7. Screw the plug back into place and tighten to the required torque (32 Nm). Lower the vehicle to the ground.
8. Take the vehicle for a short drive, after which check the lubricant level in the transfer case again.
