Removing the bearing races from the hub

Pressing the bearing races into the hub

Removal and installation
1. Remove your fist.
2. Press out the outer bearing.
3. Turn away bolts of fastening and remove a disk of a brake from a nave.
4. Knock out the outer race of the bearing with a brass mandrel from the hub (this should only be done when changing the bearing, not when changing the grease).
5. Press out the inner oil seal.
6. Knock out the inner bearing race.
7. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
8. Fill the hub cavity with grease.
9. Using a mandrel of a suitable diameter, press the new bearing cages into the hub; it is forbidden to press the cage with blows on its perimeter.
10. Press the oil seal into the hub.
11. Tighten all connections to specified torques.
