Cars 1983-91.
1. Raise the front of the car, remove the wheels and mudguard.
2. Unscrew the nuts securing the stabilizer bar to the crossmember and to the lower arms.
Pay attention to the location of the bushings, washers and gaskets.
3. Remove the stabilizer and check its condition.
4. If cracks or deformations are detected, replace. It is also recommended to replace all rubber bushings.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

6. Tighten the strut nut.
7. Replace the upper stabilizer bar mount nut and tighten it 6–8 mm from the threaded end of the bar.
8. Replace the lower control arm nuts, tighten the nuts until the threaded portion protrudes 6-8 mm (1982-91).
9. On 1992-98 vehicles, tighten the nut until the threaded portion of the bolt protrudes 6-8 mm for a 55 mm bolt length, or 8-9 mm for a 60 mm bolt length.
Cars 1992-98.
