Checking the resistance moment of the front wheel hub bearing rotation start (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Install the special tool on the front wheel hub assembly and tighten the nut to the specified torque of 220+ 10 Nm.



2. Use a special tool to measure the resistance moment of the front wheel hub bearing starting to rotate.

Maximum allowed value:

• Short wheelbase: 3.0 N·m or less;
• Long wheelbase: 3.5 Nm or less.

3. The moment of resistance at the start of rotation of the front wheel hub bearing must be within the specified limits, the hub must rotate evenly, without jamming.
