Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the turbocharger.
- Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the vacuum receiver (Fig. 4.40).

- Remove the bolts and vacuum receiver.
- Remove the bolts and engine bracket.
- Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation tube from the manifold.
- Remove the bolts and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.
- Loosen the nuts and remove the intake and exhaust manifolds as an assembly and gasket.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
- Install the turbocharger.
- Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
