2. Measure the resistance between contacts 3 and 5 of the sensor connector (Fig. 8.8).

Resistance: 1200 Ohm
Normal condition

3. Measure the resistance between pins 4 and 5 of the sensor connector.
4. If the resistance differs from the required value or does not change smoothly, replace the accelerator pedal position sensor.
Note: After replacement, adjust the position of the accelerator pedal sensor.
