Warning: When checking the oil level, the vehicle must be level.
1. Unscrew the oil filler plug. Check the oil level, which should be near the lower edge of the threaded hole for the plug (Fig. 12.1). If the oil level is low, add the required amount of oil.

2. If the oil is contaminated or its viscosity differs from the required one, replace it.
3. On the F5MR1 gearbox, tighten the oil filler plug securely by hand.
Recommended tightening torque: 2.3 Nm
4. On the F5M42 gearbox, tighten the oil filler plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 32 Nm
5. On the F5MV1 gearbox, tighten the oil filler plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 35 Nm
