Removing
1. Raise the car and remove the front wheel.
19.2a Loosen the locknut while holding the tie rod with a wrench
19.2b Mark the installation position of the tip on the rod
2. While holding the tie rod with pliers, loosen the locknut just enough to mark the position of the tie rod end on the tie rod (19.2a and 19.2b).
3. Get a pin and turn off a nut on a tip of steering draft.
19.4 Use a puller to remove the tie rod end from the stub axle arm
4. Disconnect the tie rod from the stub axle arm using a puller (19.4).
5. Turn off a tip from steering draft.
Installation
6. Screw the tip onto the tie rod to the mark made earlier and install the rod on the pivot pin arm. Tighten the tie rod locknut securely.
7. Install the castle nut and tighten to the correct torque. Install a new check.
8. Install the wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground.
9. Check front wheel alignment.
