1. All models have rack and pinion steering. The steering mechanism is connected to the pivot pins through the steering rods. The inner ends of the rods are protected by covers, which must be checked periodically.
2. The power steering system consists of a pump and connecting pipes and hoses. Check the hydraulic fluid level regularly.
3. The steering column shaft is connected to the steering mechanism through a universal joint. Steering looseness can be caused by wear of the universal joints of the steering column shaft, steering gear, tie rod ends and loosening of the fixing bolts.
