1. Raise the vehicle and remove the front wheel.
2. Remove the tie rod end and lock nut.
3. Remove the cover clamps and remove the cover.
4. Before installing the new boot, wrap the threads on the steering rod with tape to avoid damaging the boot.
5. Install the new cover in place and install new clamps.
