2. Loosen the tension of the pump drive belt and remove the belt.
3. Pump out the hydraulic fluid from the reservoir.
21.4 To remove the power steering pump, loosen the high pressure pipe connection nut (1), disconnect the return pipe hose (2), remove the high pressure pipe bracket (3), loosen the adjusting bolt (4) and the pivot bolt (not visible in the photo) (Precis model shown)
4. Disconnect the hydraulic pipes from the pump (21.4). Remove the high pressure pipe bracket from the pump.
5. Loosen the adjusting and hinge bolt (21.4) and remove the pump.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
7. Bleed the power steering system.
