Replacing light bulbs (Mitsubishi Colt 2)

1. Most light bulbs have diffusers that are attached with screws, making it very easy to access the bulbs.

2. Some bulbs have diffusers that are held in place by clips. Use a small screwdriver to remove the diffuser from the bulb.



11.3a Some bulbs can be accessed by removing the socket from the housing (turn counterclockwise)




11.3b To replace other bulbs, simply remove the socket


3. Several types of bulbs are used. To replace some, you need to press on the bulb and turn it counterclockwise (11.3a and 11.3b). The rest can be simply removed from the socket.



11.4a On this switch block, turn the socket counterclockwise and remove it from the block to gain access to the bulb




4. To gain access to the instrument panel lights or switches (11.4a and 11.4b), it is necessary to remove the instrument panel or switch.



11.4b After removing the instrument panel, turn the socket with the bulb and remove it from the panel, then remove the bulb from the socket
