Checking the cooling system (Mitsubishi Colt 2)

1. The cooling system should be checked when the engine is cold. Remove the radiator cap and clean it. Check the coolant. If it has a rusty tint, replace the coolant and flush the cooling system.



2. Check the condition of the upper and lower radiator hoses. It is recommended to replace the hoses every 2 years (14.2).

3. Using compressed air or a soft brush, remove any insect debris, leaves, etc. from the front of the radiator.
