17.1 The air filter cover can be removed by releasing the clips on the sides of the cover and unscrewing the wing nut on top


1. The air filter is located on top of the carburetor and to replace it you need to unscrew the wing nut, disconnect the clamps and remove the cover (17.1).



17.2 Remove the filter element and wipe the inside surface of the air filter housing


2. Remove the filter element and wipe the inside surface of the air filter housing (17.2).

3. Install a new filter element.



17.4 Remove the crankcase ventilation filter from the housing




4. The crankcase ventilation filter is located in the air filter housing, and to replace it, you need to remove the filter cover and take out the main filter element (17.4).

5. Disconnect the air flow sensor connection connector and disconnect the air supply hose.

6. Disconnect the clamps and remove the sensor from the casing (17.6a and 17.6b)

7. Replace the filter element and install the sensor in place.
