Removal
Slightly loosen the wheel nuts on both front wheels while they are on the ground.
Mark the position of the wheel rim on the wheel hub with paint.
Place the front of the car on jack stands.
Remove the wheel.
After removing the cotter pin (5) and unscrewing the castle nut (4), disconnect the steering joint (1) from the steering arm (6).
•Remove the steering joint using a puller tied to the body with a cord.
Slightly loosen the lock nut (2) and unscrew the steering tip from the steering rod (3). Count the number of revolutions.

Installation
Screw the steering tip onto the steering rod by the counted number of turns without tightening the lock nut.
Install the joint into the steering arm.
Tighten the castle nut to 30 Nm until the new cotter pin enters the hole.
Install the wheel, observing the marks made. Lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts diagonally.
To settle the suspension, rock the car. When the toe-in is set correctly, tighten the lock nut on the steering tip to 50 Nm.
When replacing the tie rod or tie rod end, adjust the tie rod end joint to the required dimensions (A and B), and then tighten the lock nut.
