Removing
Slightly loosen the wheel nuts of both front wheels on the ground.
Mark the position of the rim on the wheel hub with paint.
Place the front of the car on jack stands.
Remove the wheel.
Removing the cotter pin (5) and loosen the castle nut (4), disconnect the steering joint (1) from steering lever (6).
• Remove the steering joint with a puller tied with a cord to the body.
Slightly loosen the locknut (2), unscrew the steering tip from the steering rod (3). In doing so, count the number of revolutions.

Installation
For the counted number of revolutions, screw the steering end onto the tie rod without tightening the lock nut.
Install the pivot into the steering arm.
Tighten the castle nut to 30 Nm until the new cotter pin enters the hole.
Install the wheel, following the marks made. Lower the vehicle and diagonally tighten the wheel nuts.
Rock the car to lower the suspension. With the correct toe setting, tighten the lock nut on the steering tip with a force of 50 Nm.
When replacing a tie rod or a steering tip, set the steering tip pivot to the required dimensions (A and B), and then tighten the locknut.
