2001 Model Throttle Body Mounting Parts
1 - gasket; 2 - idle speed control servo connector; 3 - throttle body; 4, 3, 9 - cooling system hose; 6 - high pressure fuel hose; 7 - ignition system malfunction sensor; 8 - support; 10 - throttle position sensor connector.


Removal



Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

Remove the engine cover.

Drain the coolant from the cooling system.

Relieve the fuel pressure.

Remove the air filter.

Disconnect the throttle position sensor and idle speed control servo connectors.

Unscrew the bolts and remove the ignition system malfunction sensor.

After loosening the clamp, remove the cooling system hose.

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the cooling system hose.

Loosen the bolts and remove the high pressure fuel hose connection and gasket.

After unscrewing the bolts, remove the throttle body support.

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the cooling system hose.

Remove the throttle body gasket.

Installation



Installation is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following.

Install the gasket so that its protruding part (B) is positioned as shown in the figure.





Connect the high pressure fuel hose to the fuel manifold by rotating it right and left, being careful not to damage the gasket.

If the fuel hose turns tightly in its seat, then the O-ring may be jammed.
