5. Disconnect the wiring connector from the control unit and measure the output voltage between the connector terminals on the wiring harness side (Figure 14.36).

6. Rotate the wheel at a speed of 0.5 to 1 rpm and measure the output voltage of the wheel speed sensor.
Output voltage: when measured by voltmeter: 50mV or more, when measured by oscilloscope: 120mV (end to end) or more.
7. If the output voltage is lower than the required value, the cause may be a faulty wheel speed sensor. In this case, the defective sensor must be replaced.
