Piston and connecting rod — installation (Mitsubishi Colt 5)

1. Lubricate the piston, compression rings and oil scraper rings around the circumference with engine oil

2. Install the piston ring locks as shown in Figure 4.30. Install the piston with the front mark (arrow) towards the camshaft pulley.

3. Install the piston with the connecting rod into the cylinder block using pliers.
