- Plastigage tape.

- New engine oil.
- Engine assembly grease or molybdenum based grease.
- Gasket sealant.
- Adhesive for locking threaded connections.
2. To save time and make work easier, the engine assembly should be carried out in the following sequence:
- Piston rings.
- Crankshaft and main bearings.
- Pistons/connecting rods assembly.
- Oil pump.
- Rear crankshaft oil seal cover.
- Oil pan.
- Cylinder head, camshaft and rocker arms.
- Toothed belt and sprockets.
- Timing belt cover.
- Intake and exhaust manifolds.
- Camshaft cover.
- Rear engine cover.
- Flywheel/drive disc.
