5.1. The injector valve (arrow) ensures the supply of a super-lean fuel mixture to the combustion chamber during the intake stroke
2. Air enters through the inlet port located next to the first throttle valve of the carburetor, then passes to the injection valve through a passage in the intake manifold and cylinder head, from where it is sucked through the injection valve opening into the combustion chamber.
3. The injection valve is operated by a fork-shaped rocker arm that also controls the intake valve (they are operated by the same cam). With this design, the intake and injection valves open simultaneously.
