
2. Pull the ball joint of the support, then screw the nut onto it and, using a special tool (MV9s26), measure the force of rotation of the assembly.
3. If the measurement result is more than 2.5 N·m, the upper suspension arm assembly must be replaced.
4. If the reading is too low (less than 0.3 N·m), check the support for freedom of rotation. If the pin rotates smoothly without excessive play in its fit, the support is in order and can be used further.
5. Assess the condition of the support protective cover; if damage is detected, replace the upper arm assembly.
