Disassembling the second gear brake mechanism





1. Remove the second gear brake lock (1).

2. Remove the second gear brake piston (2).

3. Remove the sealing ring (3).

4. Remove the sealing ring (4).

Assembling the second gear brake mechanism

1. Install the sealing ring (4).

2. Install the sealing ring (3).

Note:
  • Install new O-rings and coat them with automatic transmission fluid.
  • Be careful not to damage the O-rings during installation.


3. Install the second gear brake piston (2).

4. Install the second gear brake lock (1).
