Disassembling the low speed reverse ring gear

1. Remove the spring ring (1).
2. Remove the overdrive planetary carrier (2).
3. Remove thrust bearing No. 5 (3).
4. Remove the central gear of the overdrive (4).
5. Remove thrust bearing No. 6 (5).
6. Remove the output planetary holder (6).
7. Remove the limit plate (7).
8. Remove the one-way clutch (8).
9. Remove the spring ring (9).
10. Remove the low-speed reverse ring gear (10).
Assembly of low speed reverse ring gear
1. Install the low-speed reverse ring gear (10).
2. Install the spring ring (9).
3. Install the one-way clutch (8).
1) Install the one-way clutch as shown in the figure.

4. Install the limit plate (7).
1) Install the limiter plate on the low speed reverse ring gear. Make sure the stop plate jaws are fully seated in the ring gear slots.

5. Install the output planetary holder (6).

6. Install thrust bearing No. 6 (5).
1) Apply petroleum jelly to thrust bearing #6, and then install it onto the output planet carrier.
Caution: Be careful not to confuse the installation position of thrust bearing No. 6.

7. Install the central gear of the overdrive (4).
8. Install thrust bearing No. 5 (3).
1) Apply petroleum jelly to thrust bearing No. 5, and then install it onto the overdrive planetary carrier.

9. Install the overdrive planetary carrier (2).
10. Install the spring ring (1).
