1. Mix a weak alkali or alkaline solvent with warm (no more than 60°C) water in a container and, after immersing the collector and ionizer in the solution, leave them in it for 10 minutes.

Attention! The cleaning solution should be made up at a rate of 1 part solvent to 20 parts water (by weight).

2. After this, rinse the collector and ionizer in the solution (for 2-3 minutes) to remove all dirt from them.

Caution: If the ionizer electrode plate is very dirty, clean it with a soft brush, being careful not to damage the tungsten filaments.

3. Pour the cleaning solution out of the container and fill it with clean water, lower the collector and ionizer into it for about 2 minutes to rinse them.

4. After rinsing, dry the parts to be cleaned with a stream of air.

Caution! If parts are dried with a jet of hot air, there is a risk that plastic parts may become deformed, so this drying method is not recommended.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
