Removal
To remove the heater and heater radiator, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. Remove the evaporator.
Caution: When removing and installing the floor console on vehicles with the SRS system, do not allow the console to hit the SRS control unit or other system components.

5. Remove the central air duct 1 (see Fig. 18.12).
6. Loosen the bolts and remove the central amplifier 4.
7. Loosen the bolts, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the electronic control unit 5 of the automatic transmission.
8. Loosen the screw and remove the lower air distribution duct 9.
9. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the heater hoses 3.
10. Unscrew the nuts and remove the heater 8.
11. Loosen the bolts and remove plate 7 from the heater.
12. Loosen the screw and remove the heater radiator 2.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
1. Fill the engine cooling system with coolant.
2. Install the instrument panel.
3. Install the evaporator.
