1. Remove the lower trim panel under the steering column.
2. The brake light switch is located on the left above the brake pedal. Disconnect the switch connector.
3. Loosen the lock nut on the switch and unscrew the switch from the bracket.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. To adjust the switch, unscrew the lock nut and tighten the switch so that the switch plunger is pressed when the brake pedal is released. Tighten the lock nut after completing the adjustment.
