The burnable jumpers used on these models are similar to fuses in that their condition can also be checked visually. To replace a blown jumper, disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the burned-out jumper from the connection socket and replace it with a new one. Always determine the cause of the failure of the old jumper first before installing a new one.
