Models with carburetor engine





26.1 On most models with a carburetor engine, the fuel filter is located on the rear wall of the engine compartment under the charcoal filter


1. The fuel filter is usually located on the rear wall of the engine compartment under the carbon filter (26.1).



26.2 Remove the filter from the clamp and take it out to improve access to the hose


2. For easier access, remove the filter from the clamps (26.2).

3. Loosen the hose clamps, disconnect the hoses and remove the filter.

4. Install the new filter and connect the hoses.

Models with electronic fuel injection



5. Release pressure from the fuel system.



6. The fuel filter is usually located on the rear wall of the engine compartment next to the carbon filter.



26.7 Disconnect the fuel pipes (indicated by arrows), then remove the filter from the bracket


7. Disconnect the fuel pipes and remove the filter (26.7).

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
