Draining the coolant
31.2 Before opening the drain valve, place a coolant drain hose on the fitting

2. Remove the radiator cap. Remove the protective shield located under the radiator. Connect a hose with a diameter of approximately 9 mm to the drain nipple and drain the coolant. (31.2).
31.3 After the coolant has been drained from the radiator, remove the cylinder block plug and wait until the coolant drains from the cylinder block

3. Then remove the cylinder block drain plug and drain the coolant from the engine (31.3).
4. Check the condition of the radiator hoses, heater hoses and clamps. Replace damaged clamps and hoses.
Flushing
5. After draining the coolant, rinse the radiator with clean water from a hose. Use special cleaning solutions to remove rust and scale.
Filling with coolant
6. Close the drain pipe on the radiator and install the drain plug on the cylinder block.
7. Move the interior temperature control lever to the maximum temperature position.
8. Gradually pour new coolant (50% water and antifreeze mixture) into the radiator. Fill the expansion tank with coolant up to the MIN mark.
9. With the radiator cap still on, warm up the engine until the thermostat opens (coolant will flow through the radiator and the upper radiator hose will become hot).
10. Turn off the engine and wait until it cools down. Add coolant until its level rises to the edge of the radiator filler neck.
11. Squeeze the upper radiator hose to remove air, then add coolant if necessary. Replace the radiator cap.
