Examination



1. The check must be carried out when the engine is cold.



29.3 The air damper is located at the top of the carburetor

2. Remove the air filter. The air damper is located on top of the carburetor (29.3).

3. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down. The valve should close completely. When the engine starts, the valve should open slightly.

4. Start the engine and let it warm up. As the engine warms up, the throttle should gradually open and become vertical when the engine is warm.

Cleaning



5. Clean the choke shaft with carburetor cleaner spray. Also clean the fast idle cam and linkage.
