Note: When assembling, tighten the bolts to the torques specified in the picture.
1. Install the clamp (12).
2. Install the brake shoe lining (11).
3. Install the shoe assembly (10).
4. Install the caliper body (9).
5. Install the piston seal (8).
6. Install the piston (7).
7. Install the piston dust cover (6).
8. Install the sleeve (5).
9. Install the dust cover (4).
10. Install the caliper bracket (with brake pads, guides, outer lining) (3).
11. Install the upper guide pin (2).
12. Install the lower guide pin (1).
Long wheelbase model
Note: When assembling, tighten the bolts to the torques shown in the figure.
1. Install the caliper body (9).
2. Install the piston seal (8).
3. Install the piston (7).
4. Install the piston dust cover (6).
5. Install the brake shoe lining (5).
6. Install the brake shoe assembly (4).
7. Install the clamp (3).
8. Install the pin (2).
9. Install the clamp (1).
Examination
1. Check the cylinder for wear, damage or corrosion.
2. Check the piston surface for wear, damage or corrosion.
3. Check the caliper body or bushing for wear.
4. Check for damage or oil on the brake pad linings, as well as for damage on the metal bases of the pads.
