Generator repair — checking brushes (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Measure the length of the brush protruding from the housing (as shown in the picture) and if the length is less than the limit value, then replace the brushes.

Limit value: 2mm or less



2. To remove the brush, you must first unsolder the brush's current-carrying wire.



3. To install a new brush, insert it into the holder as shown in the figure and solder the lead wire.
