2. Loosen the adjusting nut on the upper part of the selector lever.
3. Make sure the starter lock switch is in the "N" position.

4. Pull the selector cable slightly in the direction of the arrow shown in Fig. 12.7 and tighten the adjusting nut to a torque of 12 N·m.
5. Make sure that the automatic transmission shifts into the appropriate mode for the selector lever position and operates correctly in that mode.
